- 19 DEC 25 - I've been cutting right back on my drinking, but after how I feel this morning, I think I should make the official call. No longer "I'm cutting back" or "I don't usually drink that much." It's time to make it "I dont drink anymore."
- 17 DEC 25 - Flying home for Christmas.
- 15 DEC 25 - Diablo II Resurrection Progress - Defeated Mephisto. Act III Complete. Also, I didn't realise that the ability to change your talent tree was a 1-off, so I absolutely botched it and now I'm specced totally randomly and I'm not sure how to recover from it. Lol.
- 13 DEC 25 - iPod battery sadly doesn't last longer than a couple of days, even if it's left unused. I'll get into some homebrew modifications next year and see if I can't supercharge it.
- 12 DEC 25 - Bringing my server offline for the christmas period, and packing it precariously into boxes, for movement. I'll be somewhere else in the new year.
- 11 DEC 25 - Fixed up the 'Writing' page. I really like how it looks. It has a minor issue when displayed in portrait mode on an apple phone, but for the most part it's pretty shmick. Very happy.
- 10 DEC 25 - Completely reworked the site. It's not perfect, but its 99% of the what I want. It will now display better on mobile portrait and landscape, and should look more-or-less unchanged on PC. Now I can read my Rants whilst on the go =)
- 07 DEC 25 - To stop this Updates page becoming full of me just gushing over my newfound obsession (4TheWords), I've created a page called "Writing" which will house any 4TW updates from now on.
- 30 NOV 25 - Decided to give 4theWords a go. Crazy that writing has come to gamification, but at this point I'll try anything to break through this dry spell. Even if nothing great comes of it, I still think it will be a bit of fun for the short term.
- 26 NOV 25 - Revamped the backend of my Rants pages. It is now much easier to add new Rants, as well as check them for typos - whoop!
- 25 NOV 25 - Learned about Sophie Calle - an artist who creates works that make us ask questions about observation. One of her books, 'The Man', is her self-documenting her process of stalking someone. I'm intrigued.
- 25 NOV 25 - Diablo II Resurrection progress - Defeated Duriel! Act II complete. This game isn't too easy. I see why I never got around to finishing it in the past. My Necromancer is struggling pretty bad but we'll see how we go.
- 22 NOV 25 - Bought the latest "New Philosopher" and "Philosophy Now" magazines. I haven't read these in ages, but I remember enjoying them. Looking forward to jumping back in.
- 21 NOV 25 - Diablo II Resurrection progress - Defeated Andariel. Act I complete. I am determined this time, unlike the last thousand times over the last 2 decades, to actually make it to the end of the game!
- 18 NOV 25 - Discovered a new platform - Odysee. I'll delve into it more later, but for now, I've embedded a new Odysee song into my homepage playlist. Yay.
- 16 NOV 25 - Ventured back to an old writing spot this weekend. I've missed this place. Feeling very inspired.
- 08 NOV 25 - Found my old iPod touch 5th Gen. Took a while to find my old accounts and everything but I managed to activate it and let it breath new life! Just in time for my work trip. Looking forward to seeing how it holds up.
- 07 NOV 25 - Added this captain's log page! I liked the idea of being able to add quick updates, without needing to code an entire page, like when I add a new Rant. Today is the day that I decided to start backing myself, and actually try again to complete some of my projects.
- 06 NOV 25 - Started following "Mental Labour" Neocities site.
